A Great Start to My Blogging Career

Well, this is just lovely.  A month without blogging and I just started the dang thing.  HOW?!  Well, I got strep (not my 3 year old who goes to daycare daily with dozens of other snotty toddlers).  Then the car broke down. Then my phone died.  Then we had family come in for several weekends in a row.  Then I just kind of lost a sense of time.  And here I am. Snowed in on the 2nd day of SPRING.  I now understand Jack Nicholson in 'The Shining' a little better.  So, THAT'S what happens to Daddy (or Mommy) on rainy days, snowy days, or after long-ass winters?  I get it, I GET IT!  Until I get my thinking cap on to write brilliant and beautiful posts, here is a picture dump of February and March.  Enjoy!

Back in February, I had an encounter with a salad...

AND a gym.  Yes, it was actually on and I was actually pedaling.  Whoa!

Then we found out we were going to have surgery on a trigger thumb.
That poor little thumb is fused and locked in place.  We were always told she would grow out of it then we FINALLY saw a hand specialist who said, "Nah.  She's too old now".  Ugh.  I wish doctors took things more seriously sometimes.

We drew "dinosaurs with lots of legs and pineapples to eat".  I'm really proud.  She's a lefty with a locked thumb and still draws better than I do!

And we repeatedly swished Listerine one night because we were "bored".  Oh, kid.  You are going to have to learn what that word gets you.  I can't wait until she can wash dishes.

We went to a free event at the Science Center and all we got was this picture:

Then we went to the library and all we got was this one:

Poor George D. Prentice.  A pro-slavery, anti-Catholic, anti-foreigner guy just doesn't have a chance in the 21st century.  Or does he? Hmmm...

Anyway, that's the exciting comings and goings of the Hill-Collins clan.  No St. Patty's Day pictures because...I forgot.  I'm a redhead and I freaking forgot about St. Patrick's Day this year!  I hope your family is faring better than we are over here.  Cheers and be well!
